Easy No-Bake Vegan Power Ball Snack
Do you often find yourself craving something sweet in the afternoon? But are trying to avoid spending on unnecessary (and usually unhealthy) snacks.
These easy snacks simply require weighing out, pulsing in your mixer then rolling into balls. You can store them in a tin at room temperature, in the fridge or even in the freezer.
This simple recipe takes 10 minutes and makes 17 x mini golfball sized power snacks.
Nuts are a great way to satisfy your snack cravings as they are energy dense, they are packed with fibre (great for your gut health), and are full of essential fats and proteins - helping your skin glow from the inside. This recipe is an easy way to get more nuts in your life!
All nuts bring something to the table in terms of their nutritional content so we recommend mixing them up - but use what you have in your cupboard and if you are a little short, just add some seeds!
Ingredients:
160g Mixed nuts (or your favourite nuts!) Toasted if you like
40g Tahini paste
40g Honey or maple syrup (to be vegan)
26g puffed quinoa or plain popcorn
A pinch of salt flakes
Method:
Add all your ingredients to the blender and pulse until you can squeeze the mixture together in your hands.
Squeeze into balls and store in a lined tin.
Enjoy!
